Meghalaya bouncers' body celebrates 12 years

SHILLONG, June 10: The Bouncers Association of Meghalaya (BAM) today observed the Silk Anniversary (12 years anniversary) at KJP conference Hall in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Urban Affair Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh lauded the association for its service in providing security to the people in various functions and festivals and for making the people feel safe.

“Many of our youths are disheartened due to the lack of employment opportunities and they would always look for government jobs, however, an association such as BAM has been able to generate employment to youths.” New members of the association took oath in the programme.
