SHILLONG: In the wake of the publication of the final draft NRC in Assam, the Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills district, Khliehriat has urged the people of the district to maintain vigil so that there could be no illegal intruders entering any village in the district.

He also informed that any person(s) whose identity is found to be not clear, should be brought to the notice of the police at the earliest. The DC also called upon the each and everyone to co-operate with the district administration in maintaining peace in the district. This has been stated in a press release.
