Mentally challenged girl rescued by Nagaon District Legal Services Authority

NAGAON: A mentally challenged girl from outside Assam was rescued from the Panigaon Chariali area by a team of Nagaon District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and Itachali Police on Friday.

According to sources, the girl is yet to be identified. She was immediately admitted to Nagaon BP Civil Hospital. Sources said that on Friday morning some local residents saw her wandering here and there and informed Itachali Police.
