Minister Hamletson Dohling felicitated

SHILLONG, April 7: After winning the recently concluded Assembly elections form Mylliem constituency, Hamletson Dohling was facilitated by the people of the constituency. Hundreds of people including women, children, senior citizen among others attended the facilitation programme.

Dohling is now a Minister in the newly formed Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) in charge MUDA. The local MLA visited various parts of the constituency in recent weeks to thank the people for extending their support to him. “I want to give my thanks to the people of the constituency of Mylliem for supporting me and I assure the people that those things that I have promised the people before the election, I will try my best to realize them,” said Dohling.

He also asked for cooperation from the people of the constituency and to work hand in hand with him so as to usher development in the constituency.

“I don’t have any side and I’m very neutral to those who voted for me and even to those who did not give their support to me; I only ask for cooperation for the betterment of the constituency,” he said.

It may be mentioned that Dohling in the recently concluded election maged to defeat the setting Congress MLA Ronnie V Lyngdoh.
