Minister Rihon Daimari reviews water supply project

Golaghat , June 29: State Public Health and Engineering Department minister Rihon Daimari on Wednesday suddenly visited the Greater Titabor Urban Water Supply Project in Golaghat.

The project was launched during the tenure of former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi where water was collected from Dhansiri and Doyang rivers in Golaghat to provide arsenic-free drinking water to the people of Titabor constituency in Jorhat. The new minister reviewed the multi-crore project today and stated that the project was running in good condition and no complaints had been received yet regarding irregular supply of arsenic-free water .
