Miscreants attack woman

JOYSAGAR, May 15: Some unidentified miscreants attacked a woman in her residence at Bokota Nemuguri village of Sivasagar on Monday night. Juri Chetia (33), wife of Utpal Chetia, was attacked by some miscreants and they tried to burn her by pouring kerosene oil over her. The woman received serious burn injuries and Bokota Police quickly referred her to Joysagar Civil Hospital for treatment. Police also booked two persons on Tuesday based on suspicion.
