Mit Bhakha Book Released In Demow

DEMOW: A book titled Mit-Bhakha, authored by Dr Nagen Saikia, was translated into English by Gitali Saikia. The name of the book is Aching Void.

Regarding this a programme was organized in Demow Jyoti Bishnu Building on Saturday. The programme started with ceremonial lamp lighting by Bharati Gogoi, a social worker of Demow, which was followed by Borgeet where Gitashree Borah performed and the khul was performed by Bipul Dutta. The guests were felicitated in the programme.

Aching Void was released by Dr Pranjit Borah, Professor of Assamese Department in Dibrugarh University, in the presence of Dr Nagen Saikia and other dignitaries. After the release of the book, the dignitaries gave their valuable speeches. In the programme, Dr Nagen Saikia was felicitated by Demow Press Club, Kabi Sanmillan, Demow Branch, Demow Handball Club and Sanmilit Prayakh Demow.

The All Assam Kabi Sanmillan, Demow Branch and Sanmilit Prayakh Demow had organized a programme where poems were recited.
