Mohilary sounds poll bugle at Orang

TEZPUR, Feb 4: BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary on Tuesday addressed a massive public rally at Orang in Udalguri district and tried to woo the voters by explaining the basics of development for the people of the BTC region in general and Mazbat LAC in particular.

The meeting organized at Orang was chaired by Rihon Daimari, MLA of Udalguri LAC and president of Udalguri district committee of Bodoland People’s Front (BPF). It was anchored by Shyam Sundi, executive member of the BTC. More than 10,000 people attended the meeting.

Taking a dig at the Congress and the AIUDF, the BTC chief and president of the BPF slammed the present position of both the parties in the BTAD region and exuded the hope that the BPF would be blessed again by the people in the region.

Mohilary also expressed confidence of winning all the 16 seats to be contested by the party in the BTAD.

The meeting was also addressed by Chanran Boro, general secretary of the Udalguri district committee of the regiol political party and the candidate of 70-Mazbat LAC, Biswajeet Daimary, RSMP and Probin Boro, secretary of the BPF, among others.
