Monoloi Phagun Ahe programme held in Golaghat

Golaghat, March 10: Under the aegis of Golaghat based social , cultural , literary and environment organization Pragya-Assam, eminent poet and critic Nilim Kumar’s 55th birthday was celebrated in Golaghat on Wednesday. On this occasion a unique programme of poetry and lyrics called ‘Monoloi Phagun Ahe’ was organised at the Amateur Theatre Society Auditorium in Golaghat where several upcoming poetic talents from different parts of Assam took part. Nilim Kumar was given a warm welcome and felicitated with traditiol gamosa, books and bouquet. Poet Nilim Kumar appreciated such an initiative by Pragya- Assam and said that such events inspired him to create new poems and literature.
