Morning Star lift ASPL title

GUWAHATI, July 25; Karbi Anglong Morning Star lifted the ASPL Soccer Championship title defeating FC Green Valley in a well contested fil by 2-1 at Diphu today. All three goals came in the second half of the match. Good number of crowds turned out today to witness the title clash which was held under flood light. Immanual L Intoate and Orok Orok Essien, the highest scorer of the tourment, scored one goal each for the winning outfit while George Price scored the lone goal for FC Green Valley.It is the third consecutive occasions that FC Green Valley, after reaching fil, failed to win the cup.
