Mukhi in Dhanvantari Seva Yatra

Guwahati, April 8: Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi attended the function of the eight-day Dhanvantari Seva Yatra, a special medical camp organized jointly by Seva Bharti Purvanchal and tiol Medico Organisation at GMCH auditorium this evening.  Dhanvantari Seva Yatra, a special medical camp which started on April 2, 2018 ended today where patients of under privileged sections afflicted with several health related problems were given medical treatment free of cost.  Speaking on the occasion, Governor Prof. Mukhi said that since many of the places of North eastern part of India fall in the mountainous terrain, connectivity remains a big issue there and as a result quality health care delivery system is a far cry. In such places the intervention of Seva Bharti Purvanchal and tiol Medico Organisation to render quality health care delivery system and assisting the government health organization serves as solace to those persons who are otherwise deprived of medical facilities.  Prof. Mukhi also hailed the role of Seva Bharti Purvanchal and tiol Medico Organisation for having decided to organize the medical camp here in Assam to ensure health and hygiene to everybody. The Governor also thanked Seva Bharati, Purbanchal and tiol Medico Organization which have been organizing mega medical camp project mely DHANVANTARI SEVA YATRA since the last 14 years, where in free medical camps are being organised at different places of Assam and North East and free medicines are distributed to the patients.
