Mukoli Bihu at Jagiroad

JAGIROAD, April 24: The Jagiroad Nizarapar Rongali Bihu sanmilan will be held at Jagiroad sports association playground from May 7 to May 9. According to the organizers, a state level mukoli bihu (open bihu) competition would be held at the afternoon on May 7. The committee announced Rs. 50,000, Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 20,000 cash money against the first three positions holders. The interested contestant can contact to the numbers— 9854939926 and 9954167160.  Earlier on the day, a colourful procession would also be taken out. Cultural functions specially local and ethnic programmes will be held on May 8 and invited artists would perform on May 9.
