Museum Day observed in State Museum

GUWAHATI, May 18: The Guwahati State Museum observed the 75th Intertiol Museum Day today in its conference hall. The programme was iugurated by Manisha Behal. She spoke about the importance of museums in society.  The Director of State Museum YS Weenglengton said: “History always connects the past with the present, and for connecting through history, museum is the proper way. It also gives researchers many facts to do research on the historical topics.”  The curator of State Museum, Jiten Shyam, and others were present in the programme.
