Mysterious death of SSB jawan's wife in Rangia

Rangia, June 7: The mysterious death of Rekha Chowdhury (25), wife of a SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal) jawan Rajveer Chowdhury of 33rd Battalion, created panic among the people of Bamungaon village under Kamalpur police station on Tuesday morning.

According to the villagers, the body was found in a pond. They informed the police who rushed to the spot. Latter they recovered the body and sent it for post mortem. The SSB jawan Rajveer Chowdhury hailing from Rajasthan, was posted at Rangia Hahara camp for the past one year. He lives in the village in the rented house of Prasan Kalita. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained. Police have started investigation.
