Nadal, Munar complete pre-Wimbledon training

Palma de Mallorca (Spain), June 20: Spanish tennis players Rafael Nadal and Jaume Munar on Wednesday completed their pre-Wimbledon training on the grass courts of the WTA Mallorca Open women’s tournament. Nadal, World No.2, and Manur, World No.87, are aiming to fully adapt to the natural grass surface before heading to Wimbledon, the second Grand Slam event of the season, reports Efe. “I’ll play in Wimbledon,” Manur assured Efe regarding his debut appearance at the English tournament, after finishing up a two-hour training session with Nadal. Wednesday was Nadal’s third consecutive day of training at the Santa Ponsa tennis club, overseen by his coach Carlos Moya and doctor Angel Cotorro. (IANS)
