Awareness programme

KOHIMA: A consumer awareness programme was held at DPDB’s conference hall on Monday with advisor Rural Development & Chairman District Planning & Development Board, Kohima, Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire as the guest of honour. “Every LPG consumer has an insurance, however most of the consumer were not aware of it”, pointed out Dr Nicky and requested the department concerned to check the detail and if the benefit is available, he said that it would be an obligatory to every DPDB members to spread the awareness on the insurance. stated a DIPR release.

Toppers feted

KOHIMA: The District Planning Development Board (DPDB) Phek was held at its conference hall on under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB Phek, Sachin Jaiswal, on Monday where a felicitation was held for HSLC/HSSLC toppers in the meeting. HSLC topper Subam Kumar and HSSLC topper Khushboo Shah and Puchohulu Chuzho were awarded with certificates along with citation by the Deputy Commissioner. Work distribution for Independence Day was deliberated upon, stated a DIPR release.

Anganwadi worker

KOHIMA: In a felicitation programme held on Monday at Community Hall Longsa village Mokokchung district, Tulula Pongen Additional Director, the Social Welfare Department presented the national level award for best Anganwadi worker from Nagaland State to Merentola, Longsa Centre ‘A’ under Ongpangkong North ICDS Project. The award carries a certificate and a cash of Rs 50,000. The programme was chaired by Talisangla Nokdir, CDPO, Ongpangkong North and welcome address was delivered by Imliyanger, CDPO, ICDS Project Kobulong, stated a DIPR release.
