KOHIMA: Along with the rest of the country, World Blood Donor Day was celebrated on at Mount Olive College, Kohima, under the theme "Safe Blood for All" on Friday. The programme was organized by Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club and Mount Olive College, Kohima. The programme was chaired by Ajanbeni Ovung, stated a DIPR release.

OMC cautions public

KOHIMA, June 14: Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) has informed that a number of fake website have been created by some unknown person/bogus agencies to fraudulently offer LPG distributorship and retail outlet dealership and demanding money in the process. It has been informed that the fake website has been kept similar to the original website. The public is therefore advised to visit only official website of OMCs at www.ipgvitarakchayan.in and www.petrolpumpdealerchayan.in, stated a DIPR release.

Skill training

KOHIMA, June 14: A skill development training was organized by the District Task Force on 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' (BBBP) and Mahila Shakti Kendra (DLCW) Longleng at the EBRC Hall under the theme "Empowering Women through Skill Training" for dropout girl students and unemployed women on Friday. Robi Sangtam, Extra Assistant Commissioner Headquarter, Longleng, graced the inaugural occasion as a special guest. The programme was chaired by Phungla Phom, Women Welfare Officer, NSK, while invocation and short speech was delivered by Henthai Phom, president Phomla Hoichem, stated a DIPR release.
