Narendra Modi insults the guards of Bihar: Rahul Gandhi

Guwahati: Congress President Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of insulting the honest guards of Bihar by calling himself a chowkidar.

Rahul Gandhi called the Prime Minister a chowkidar of chors (thieves). Addressing a rally at Bihar, Gandhi said Modi calls himself the guard of the country but in fact, he is a guard of Vijay Mallya, Anil Ambani, Mehul Chouksi and Nirav Modi. Modi has given Rs. 30,000 crores to Ambani and he has insulted the honest youth of Bihar who guards the nation.

Ambani has repeatedly refuted the charge.

Ambani said that the people from Bihar guard several banks across the country. A bank where the guard is a Bihari, there can never be theft in that bank.

Gandhi further alleged that Modi didn't help the people of Bihar when the state was hit by floods caused by the Kosi River.

Modi can give Rs. 30,000 crore to Ambani but he cannot give a single penny to the people of Bihar when the flood hits Bihar.

Gandhi also reiterated his promise to probe the Rafale jet deal if they would be voted to power adding that the probe in Rafale case will begin soon and in the end it will expose two names- Narendra Modi and Anil Ambani and they will be punished.

BJP also assured to give Rs. 15 lakh to each Indian which has been failed and but Congress assured that if the party is voted to power, 5 crore families will get Rs. 72,000 per year under NYAY scheme, said Gandhi.

He further said that if the Modi-led government could give money to Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi they why can't the Congress give some money to the poor.

Rahul Gandhi addressed a rally at Bihar campaigning for Ranjeet Ranjan who will contest in the Lok Sabha polls from Supaul Lok Sabha seat and the constituency will go for vote on April 23 in the third phase of elections.
