National Cadet Corps (NCC) camp organized by 10 Assam Bn in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: The 10-day NCC camp organized by 10 Assam Bn. NCC, held at the Don Bosco Higher Secondary School here under the aegis of NCC camp headquarter, Dibrugarh was concluded successfully with the closing address by camp commandant, Colonel Joydeep Goswami. More than 6 hundred NCC cadets of the senior and junior division took part in the various activities, organized on the occasion. Group Commander, NCC Group Head Quarter, Dibrugarh, Brigd. S. K. Lamba paid a visit to the camp and witnessed the training being imparted among the cadets. During the camp, the participant cadets carried out extensive training on various military subjects including Drill, Map Reading and Fieldcraft. The camp also witnessed active participation of the cadets in the selection for the Republic Day parade and Prime Minister’s rally at Delhi and other centrally organized camps. The cadets also followed the motto of NCC ‘Unity and Discipline’ in letter and spirit. They actively took part in social service activities like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and tree plantation. Cadets also went through a variety of training including tent pitching drill test and lecture on personality development.
