NCC Brigadier PM Bali urges Meghalaya government for 2 more battalions in State

Shillong: The Group Commander of the NCC Brigadier PM Bali has urged the Meghalaya government to ask the Union Ministry to speed up the process of creating two more battalions in the State. Delivering his welcome address at the concluding day of the combined annual training camp, Brigadier Bali, who was all praised of the State Government in aiding the NCC, said, “I urged the Chief Minister to help us making the NCC more visible in the State.

“We want that there should be at least two other battalions in Jaintia Hills and Garo Hills”, stated the Group Commander while impressing upon the Chief Minister and other State officials about the immense potential that the youths in the State have.

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma in course of his speech spoke at length about the utility of the National Cadet Corps.
