NDFB cadres apprehended

GUWAHATI: Based on specific input regarding movement of suspected NDFB cadres, Mon Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) laid a MVCPs along Mon-Chenmoho road leading to the apprehension of five suspected NDFB cadres at IB Jn Chenmoho village recently.

They were attempting to move to Myanmar. The apprehendees were identified as Ngamya Shimlaolim (25 years), resident of Yanching, Myanmar, Anaw Narzary (25 years) resident of Udalguri, Penjei Konyak (45 years) resident of Chenloisho, Mon, Nagaland, Tonwang, (55 years), resident of Yanching, Myanmar and Yangmoh (50 years) resident of Yanching, Myanmar. All five were handed over to Mon Police Station for further investigation, a press release stated.
