NDFB (P) condoles demise of Isak Chishi Swu

Tezpur, June 29: The NDFB (P) has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of chairman and founder of the NSCN, Isak Chishi Swu. The NDFB (P) spokesman, B. Bodosa in an email said that under the able leadership of the revolutiory leader, the most powerful revolutiory organization of the entire Northeast India has been struggling for the independence of the galand and the ga people since a long time, thereby being able to attract the attention of the Central Government. “The spirit of fight of ga people for their rights is the source of inspiration to the other communities of the Northeast. Isak Chishi Swu joined the ga tiol Council which was formed by AZ Phizo, the pioneer of the ga movement and was involved in fighting for more than six decades for freedom of the ga people.” The NDFB (P) prayed for peace to the departed soul.
