New Block Development Officer of Kalaigaon Development Block

KALAIGAON: Biraj Kr Barua has joined as the new Block Development Officer (BDO) of Kalaigaon Development Block in Udalguri district. He took charge from outgoing I/C BDO Manoj Kr Bania on Thursday. Barua was working as Circle Officer of Kalaigaon Revenue Circle. Manoj Kr Bania, on the other hand, has been transferred to Bhergaon Development Block. A delegation of Kalaigaon Press Guild comprising Arun Sarma and Bhuban Bania welcomed the new BDO at his office on Thursday and urged the officer to work honestly for the development of the area. While talking to mediapersons, the new BDO said that he would ensure timely completion of development works and asked his office staff to work sincerely and systematically.
