New Body of Golaghat Sub-divisional Chutia Students’ Union Formed

Golaghat: The Golaghat sub-divisional Chutia Students’ Union (GSCSU) formed its new committee in a organizational meeting held at Sati Sadhabu Bhawan in Joonaki Nagar on Sunday. The meeting was presided over by AACSU’s Golaghat district committee president in-charge Papu Saikia. A new GSCSU body of 31 members with Pranjal Tamuly as president, Jayanta Bora as working president and Goutam Bora as secretary was formed at the meeting.

In the meeting, central committee secretary Mohen Bora, adviser Madhumadhab Saikia, assistant secretary Lakhi Bora, Kundil Chutia along with Golaghat district committee vice-president Ashim Saikia, general secretary Ritu Saikia, adviser Bitul Chutia and Mousum Saikia were present. In a press statement, president and secretary Pranjal Tamuly and Goutam Bora said GSCSU will fight against anti-indigenous elements to protect the people of Assam.
