New born baby found abandoned near cremation ground in Tezpur, Locals come to the rescue

Tezpur: An abandoned baby boy was rescued by local people near Hozora par cremation ground in Tezpur on Monday morning.

As per local people, the abandoned baby boy was rescued from a drain nearby the cremation ground.

From the recovery of the baby boy, it has been assumed that the baby would be less than 24 hours old and was allegedly abandoned by his parents due to personal/domestic issues.

It is to be noted that the abandoned baby boy was badly bitten by ants and was found crying when local came into his rescue.

The baby boy was immediately shifted to Tezpur Civil Hospital for better treatment.

Speaking to the media, several people condemning the incident had slammed the notorious parents for committing such an inhuman act in the modern era.
