New campus of ITBP in Tezpur iugurated

Tezpur, May 23: Krish Chaudhary, IPS DG, ITBP, iugurated the new campus of ITBP on Monday at Rangamati (Bihaguri) which will accommodate Sector Head Quarters and 55th Battalion of ITBP. The campus with a sprawling area of over 89.12 acres of land will have administrative block, jawan barracks and motor transport workshop equipped with modern amenities as well. In his address, Krish Chaudhary, DG ITBP, said that priority would be given for acquisition of land for the units in the temporary camps. He also informed that ITBP was planning to make holiday homes for its personnel of the rank of constable to ASI in 12 different cities in the country where they could spend holidays with their families at reasoble cost.
