Guwahati, June 26: State Finance department on Tuesday sanctioned 124 new posts for the Assam Secretariat Service. The new posts include 2 additional secretaries, 8 joint secretaries, 19 deputy secretaries, 21 under secretaries, 21 superintendents and 53 senior administrative assistants. The Assam Secretariat Service Association thanked the Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for creating the new posts.
