Newborn baby rescued

JOYSAGAR, April 18: Sivasagar Police, with the help of local villagers, rescued a newborn male baby from a pond in Chaulkora, Mothadang village on Wednesday. Police revealed that the baby was born just two hours ago and an unidentified couple threw the baby in the pond. But local villagers spotted the baby and quickly informed the police. The police rescued the baby and sent him to Joysagar Civil Hospital for treatment.
