NFR participates in mami Brahmaputra at Dibrugarh

Guwahati, April 5: The Northeast Frontier Railway Tinsukia Division participated in the mami Brahmaputra festival at Dibrugarhat with a big exhibition from March 31 to April 4 which attracted a large number of visitors, a press release said.

Many informative write ups, documentary films, heritage items and models of Railways were displayed in the stall.  The large mascot Bholu depicting the Guard of Indian Railways was placed infront of the Pavilion. The automatic level crossing gate with Rajdhani express model, world heritage Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Toy Train model, world longest rail cum road Bogibeel Bridge model, Indian Railways latest technology of Bio Toilet,  world tallest railway bridge model and the informative write-ups on Railways have given the emmence pleasure during the exhibition period.

Relating to railway information a Railway Quiz Competition is being organised among the school students infront of the Railway pavilion at mami Brahmaputra Mohotsav on April 3 where large number of school students   participated.

The Quiz was conducted by Nripen Bhattacharyya Public Relations Officer of Northeast Frontier Railway. The winners of the quiz competition in group A are Tapan Malakar , Shristi Kasyap, Jasuah Morang in Group B while the group B winners are Sweety Malakar, Shubhangkar Deka  and Rohit Jajodia. Students from different schools of Dibrugarh district participated in this Railway based Quiz. The winners of the competition were awarded with prizes and certificates on April 4.
