NFRSA set title clash with Guwahati

GUWAHATI, May 14: NFRSA, as expected, entered into the fil of the Nuruddin Inter District Cricket Tourment (elite group) defeating Dibrugarh by virtue of the first innings lead at the Barsapara ground here today. The highlight of the last day’s game was Manoj Malo’s century. The batsman remained not out on 104 when the game came to an end.

The three-day fil of the meet will be held from Monday where NFRSA will face Guwahati.

NFRSA today started their first innings from their overnight score 230/4 and took their score to 298/6 before rain interrupted the game. The match was called off as the fate of it already decided before that. Manoj reached three figure mark today and the batsman remained not out on 104 when the game called off. He took 190 balls to score those runs with the help of 12 boundaries and one six. Parviz Aziz (85) and Utpal Medhi (59) were the other major contributors for NFRSA ,
