NHMEA action plan to propagate health

Shillong, July 1: The second annual general meeting of the National Health Mission Employees Association (NHMEA)was held on Saturday at the district auditorium Tura. The meeting was attended by employees serving under the national health mission of Meghalaya. The meeting had witnessed active participation of members coming from all the 11 districts where more than 600 members attended this meet. In the general meeting Johnson Nongbet shared the annual report of NEAM( NHM employees association of Meghalaya). The financial report was presented by Kmenbhalang Khongwir vice president of the NEAM. During the day various issues related directly and indirectly affecting the welfare of the staff serving in different posts have been discussed. Besides advocating and facilitating rights and welfare of its members, the meet had come up with an action plan that will address propagating health promotion activities for the coming days. The meet ended with a vote of thanks by assistant general secretary, R Kharduit and the president who hosted the event, Grevy Momin.
