MUMBAI, May 12 : The tiol Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on Thursday said global surveys have declared its Nifty 50 options as the world’s most actively traded derivatives contract for the year 2015.

The NSE said the trend was confirmed by two surveys — “Derivative Market Survey”, conducted by the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) and Intertiol Options Market Association (IOMA), and a similar study by the Futures Industry Association (FIA).

“All such surveys focused on trading and clearing activities in derivatives, among others and cover responses and trade data from exchanges,” the NSE said in a statement.
