Nitish consents formation of NEEC

GUWAHATI, June 2: The Janata Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar has accorded approval to the constitution of the party’s North East Executive Council (NEEC) informed a release on Saturday. The newly formed NEEC will comprise Nagaland state JD (U) president Senchumol Lotha as NEEC Chairman, Manipur state JD (U) president Hangkhanpao Taithul as NEEC member secretary, JD (U) secretary Afaque Ahmed Khan as NEEC coordinator, JD (U) secretary Sanjay Verma as Special invitee, NEEC and JD (U) general secretary, North East (in charge) Harivansh Narayan Singh as NEEC ex-officio member.
