Nitish Kumar Appoints Poll Strategist Prashant Kishor as the Janta Dal (U) Vice-president

Nitish Kumar Appoints Poll Strategist Prashant Kishor as the Janta Dal (U) Vice-president

Prashant Kishor, the Poll strategist of the Janta Dal (U) now becomes the new vice-president of JD(U) as the party chief and also the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar vests him with the new responsibilities on Tuesday.

Expressing his happiness over this new milestone, Prashant Kishor says, “Excited to start my new journey from Bihar!”

Remarkably, Prashant had shot to fame through his successful election campaigns of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014. In the following year, he was known for the campaigning of Grand Alliance in Bihar. It was only last month when Prashant had joined the JD (U) party.

This has to be mentioned here that the poll campaigns that Prashant did for the Prime Minister candidate Narendra Modi in 2014 were registered as best-ever electoral performance.

Prashant has an experience of working with almost all leading political parties of the country as, before this, he had also worked with the Congress in Punjab. In that election, Congress regained its power by dislodging the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)-BJP combine. In 2017 as well, Prashant had collaborated with Congress for the assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh but failed as the party won less than 10 seats in the 403-member assembly.
