North East Media Cricket Championship from January 25

GUWAHATI: The Evergreen Group is organizing Sai Vikash North East Media Cricket Championship from January 25 to February 2 at Judges’ Field. Apart from 10 media houses of the city Barak Vellay Press Club and Shillong Press Club will participate in the meet.

The teams have been divided in four groups. News 18 Assam, Bhal Khabar, News Live are placed in Group A; GL Publication, Assam Talks, Shillong Press Club in Group B; Barak Vellay Press Club, Dainik Janambhumi, Asomiya Khabar in Group C while Prag News, Asomiya Pratidin and DDK are in Group D. Top teams of every group will qualify for the semifinals.

News 18 Assam will take on Bhal Khabar in the inaugural match on January 25 at 9am while GL Publication will take the challenge of Assam Talks in the afternoon match of the same day.
