‘NRC process not a conspiracy against Hindu Bengalis’, says TCP Sivasagar President Pradip Pachani

JOYSAGAR, Aug 2: Trinamool Congress Party (TCP) Sivasagar District Committee seems to be in a damage-control mode after the furore caused by TCP president and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with her ‘objectionable comments’ after the final draft NRC was published in Assam. TCP Sivasagar district president Pradip Pachani clarified the party’s stand and said that the NRC process was not a conspiracy against the Hindu Bengali community or the Muslim community. The draft NRC had been published after an elaborate and impartial process.

He said that Mamata Banerjee had made those comments based on fake information. He said that they would send urgent letters to Mamata Banerjee with all the details of the NRC update process so that she could get the correct perspective.
