NSCN Linkmen Arrested In Golaghat District

GOLAGHAT: Based on secret information regarding movement of two Naga persons with arms, Kamabarndha police under the supervision officer in-charge, Giridhar Bora, arrested two Naga persons on Friday night. They have been identified as Y. Pongteng and K Hongba. The police suspect them to be linkmen of the NSCN.

As per report, both were traveling from Longling to Dimapur via Titabor, Kamarbandha in a bus bearing registration number NL 11- 2760 under Nagaland transport. The bus was intercepted in the Kamarbandha area in Golaghat district and during search operation, two .22 bore pistols with six rounds of live ammunition were recovered from their possession.
