NVBDCP, Assam Observed Awareness Against Dengue Prevention

GUWAHATI: The National Vector Borne Disease Control Program (NVBDCP), Assam observed the National Dengue Day at the different districts of Assam.

At the State Headquarters in collaboration with District Health Society Kamrup (Metro) the day long program was observed at Hiteshwar Saikia Auditorium near Pandu FRU.

The program comprised of Cleanliness drive, Rally with ASHA, along with the State Programme Officer (SPO) NVBDCP, Joint Director of Health Services Kamrup Metro and other Nodal officers. In the coming days under the supervision of State NVBDCP IEC-BCC Consultant Karishma Sharma and District Media Expert (DME) of Kamrup Metro district Smita Saikia, various street plays and miming activities would be carried out.
