Monubhiram Rajkhowa

Monubhiram Rajkhowa (84), a famous artiste of Sivasagar Phukan Nagar area, passed away on December 13 in Dibrugarh. Rajkhowa had worked with Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, Jyotish Bhatta, Tarun Kakoti and Hiren Gohain of Dibrugarh Radio Station during 1970-80 and he played the sitar also. He was a businessman and social worker who was associated with many organizations of the town. He leaves behind his two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives. His last rites were performed in the Phukan Nagar crematorium. Many organizations have condoled his demise.
