One dead in road mishap at Boko

Boko: Hriday Singh from Bamunigaon village died while Kartik Das from Bhurkibari village was seriously injured when a Mahindra Bolero pick-up van hit them from behind while they were on their way home in a Bajaj Pulsar bike from Satbari village under Boko Police Station.

Police arrested the pick-up van driver Jitu Das from Satabati village as he had fled from the site after the accident. Sources said that just before the accident there was an argument between them over personal issues and when they left the place, Jitu Das follow them in his Bolero pick-up van and hit them from behind. Injured Kartik Das has been referred to GMCH from Bamunigaon Model Hospital.
