One dies after falling from train

Bongaigaon, April 26: One person died on Tuesday in Gosaipara area of Bongaigaon by falling down from a train. The unidentified person is a male aged about 48 years. He was wearing a blue coloured shirt and a cream coloured pant. Munin Dutta, IC, New Bongaigaon GRP, said that the person sustained major injuries in the head and leg for which he died on the spot. “As per our information, the person had fallen down from Up Saraighat Express at about 6-40 am in the Gosaipara area between New Bongaigaon and Mazgaon station at railway km 3/3-4. We hurried to the spot and sent the body for postmortem,” he said.
