One injured in tiger attack

GAON, March 22: A teege boy was severely injured after being attacked by a tiger at Hayabasti village, close to the Sagunbari hills area under Kathiatoli forest range on Sunday. Sources said that the boy was on his way to collect firewood from the hills while the tiger attacked him. The boy has been identified as Dip Raotia (17) of Hayabasti village under Kampur police station. Soon after the incident, the local forest personnel rushed to the spot and recovered the boy in very critical condition and made arrangement to admit him in gaon SBP Civil Hospital. Although the doctor referred him to GMCH, yet his family insisted to keep him in gaon Civil Hospital.
