ONGC Assam Asset observes Saksham 2019

GAURISAGAR: ONGC Assam Asset is observing Saksham 2019, a month long mass awareness campaign on Energy Conservation with the theme ‘Indhan Sanrakshan Ki Jimmadari, Jan Gan Ki Bhagidari’. As part of Saksham, ONGC Assam Asset has devised various campaigns among employees, families, school children and associates from January 16 to February 15.

In association with PCRA, under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, through this campaign, ONGC aims to spread awareness among masses for judicious utilization and conservation of petroleum products and encourage use of energy efficient technology & appliances. Suresh D Maske, Executive Director cum Asset Manager, ONGC Assam Asset inaugurated Saksham 2019 and administered the ‘Saksham Pledge’ to the employees, including field personnel of various Installations under Assam Asset through video conferencing. Maske also interacted with the employees and with the field personnel through video conferencing, motivating all to adopt innovative measures to save energy, both at organizational and individual level.

Maske in his message emphasized that energy conservation and judicious use of scarce natural resources like oil & gas is within our control and it should be part of our culture and habit and even small savings, both at organizational and individual level can contribute in a massive way at national level.
