ONGC gas pipeline leak in Titabor

JORHAT: A gas pipeline leak beside Dhodor Ali in Titabor town on Tuesday due to technical defect was brought under control after timely arrival of fire tenders of the State Fire Service.

A big blast at the crack site of the ONGCL gas pipeline passing through Titabor town between gas gathering station Borhulla in Titabor to Lepetkota gas treatment plant, Dibrugarh, could be brought under control with immediate action of the State fire service and ONGCL fire tender. The inferno was doused within 15 minutes with minimum loss of gas, said ONCGL sources.
