OPD Services Back On Track: NEIGRIHMS

SHILLONG: In response to queries from stakeholders, NEIGRIHMS has informed that OPD services in cardiology have been resumed from May 3 and 33 patients were seen in the OPD on Saturday up to 1 pm.

Public relations officer of NEIGRIHMS Dr KK Pandita further informed that the medical superintendent has forwarded a list of 31 items and balloon list of 20 items received from Priya Prasad, officer operations of Amrit Pharmacy to HOD cardiology vide a letter dated 4.05.2019.

He said that these items are already available in Amrit Pharmacy NEIGRIHMS from May 3 for the benefit of the patients.

He also informed that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has been informed accordingly.

It may be mentioned that recently there was a stand-off between doctors and the administration of NIGRIHMS as there were shortage of devices in the OPD services in cardiology at the institute.
