Outreach Programme on ‘Poshan Abhiyan’ Held

KAMBA: A Special outreach programme on “POSHAN ABHIYAN” was organized by Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Govt. of India in coordination with the community health centre, Kamba, ICDs Kamba at Govt. Middle school Kamki- Peri on Thursday here.

The main objective of the programme was to create wide awareness amongst the unaware rural public about the “POSHAN ABHIYAN”. The awareness program was started with public Rally consisting of Govt. officers/officials, Public leaders, GBs, PRI-members, students, Teachers, Anganwadi workers, and the general public,

Addressing the gathering (MO) CHC, Kamba G. Bagra disseminated the basic information about the importance of nutrition he Advised gathering public to be careful of their children diets and one should choose proper food items of nutritious value for physically, mentally and socially healthy of their child, he also speech on Adulation of Girls child, the advice the gathering to give special care of their child girls diets during the period of Adulation i.e. Age of 10 to 19.

(HGB) Kamki Farm N.Geyi speaking on the occasion as special guest paid his gratefulness to Field outreach Bureau for organizing such educative and informative awareness program at rural areas, he indicated that so, many schemes have introduced by the present central Government under consideration for the up liftmen of rural public and every individual may availed all the benefit of central Govt. schemes,

Meanwhile, FOB, Along M.Basar highlighting the aim and objective of the program he referred the importance of “Poshan Abhiyan” which was launched by Govt. of India Ministry of women & child development to eradicate malnutrition amongst the children.

During the Day long program the FOB conducted “Healthy Baby show Computation” shown a film relating to the theme, distribute booklet, and pertinently conducted the quiz competition in between public and the winner of the same has also been honoured with the attractive prize by the Chief Guest being sponsored by the FOB.
