Pala iugurates community hall

SHILLONG, June 27: Shillong Lok Sabha MP Vincent H Pala today iugurated a Community Hall of Rngi Jynriew Dong Rum, Lawjynriew at Nongthymmai here in the presence of local MLA Dr Jemino Mawthoh, former MLA Bindo M Lanong and others. Speaking on the occasion, Pala said that development can become a reality only through the active participation and co-operation of stakeholders at different levels. He also expressed hope that the newly iugurated community hall will become a public asset where the people, especially youths can engage in sports activities and vocatiol training. “And this type of activities will help in keeping themselves away from involving in anti-social activities,” he said.
