‘Parameters for urgent mention being worked upon’ : Chief Justice Gogoi

NEW DELHI, Oct 3: New Supreme Court Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi on Wednesday temporarily disallowed the practice of mentioning of urgent matters by lawyers as has been prevalent till now, saying the parameters for this are being worked out.

Chief Justice Gogoi said: “Lets move on, it is not required.” “No mentioning (of matters) for Wednesday and Thursday. We are working out the parameters for the mentioning,” said the Chief Justice as the court proceeded with its normal course. (IANS)
