Parents locate missing son in Boko

KOKRAJHAR, May 9: The parents of missing student Bishal Das of Besimari under Fakiragram Police Station of Kokrajhar district, who went missing in 2012, claimed that they have found the location of the house where their son was staying. The parents hope to re-unite with their son soon. The parents of Bishal- Marajan Das and Uma Das live in Besimari village.

Uma Das, mother of Bishal Das, said that her son went to his aunty’s house in Bijni but did not return back home. She claimed that Bishal went missing in 2012 in Chirang district. She also said the family members lodged an FIR about their son Bishal and nephew Bipul who is also missing since August last year. She said they got information that her missing son Bishal had been living with one Maleka Khatun, a widow who lives in Sontali village near Boko in Kamrup district and is believed to have given him shelter and remed her son as Saiful. But she has refused to hand him over saying that the 15-year old boy was her son.

When Bishal’s parents went to Sontali village they recognized their son and the boy too recognized them, Uma Das added. The local people said that Uma Das became mentally ill after her son went missing. Sources also said that Bishal’s father and sister had gone to Guwahati to give blood samples for D test in a hospital but the matter has to be taken up in a proper way so that they get justice.
