Parliament to Start its Winter Session from December 11

Guwahati: The Winter Session of Parliament is scheduled to be commenced on December 11 and conclude on January 8. The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) made this announcement on Wednesday.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, the head of the CCPA, headed by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, made the announcement on the dates of the session on Tuesday night at his residence.

Hence, as per the CCPA recommendation, the winter session of the parliament will be held from December 11 to January 8. However, generally, the Winter Session of Parliament starts in November but this year, it postponed a month as five states in the country are undergoing the Assembly Elections this year. However, it is the second year in a row when the winter session will begin in December.
